Large Families Ireland Do You Know Anyone Who Has Raised More Than 8 Kids?

Do you know anyone who has raised more than 8 kids? - large families ireland

Both my grandmothers had a family mass in Ireland.
11 (maternal grandmother) and 13 (maternal grandfather) children. My maternal grandmother was Prodests Gt So, before you ask, no, non-Catholics on this page.

There are surely other people here with big families, two generations ago?

I grew up in a predominantly Catholic neighborhood in the 1960s. I was one of the 3rd There were families with up to 13 or perhaps some 14 children. There were families who believed that families had 5 or 6 "small families. Some members of these families went with great success. Many times in families with many children were when their parents were strong and loving children at the time, more than a few minor educated families, because they say has always been other brothers, Mom or Dad if you see any mistakes, and because the whole neighborhood knew the family because everyone who was a child to school with one or another of the big family, " said Jones Hey you, boy, I do not know his name, but if you do not stop doing that, I call your mother "

Of course there are people who care only to children despite poverty or the inability for them. Some for religious reasons, do not believe that any form of birth control, including headache, "method" (Not tonight darling, I have a headache) or notcare. Some women have children, which is by different people varies.

Now I know a family with a 10 and a pair of families with 5 or more. These people are evangelical Christians. I do not know what they think of birth control, as if the Catholic Church. But the parents are very good.

I met a man and a woman aged between Appalachian (deceased), who gave birth to 22 children, including 2 sets of twins, and raised 20 of them. 2 died in childhood. And they did it without benefit of social protection. And that's the positive side of the story. All children were as good people. Some loans refused, made subsidies, etc., and training and very good. Others have received technical training and also made in their respective fields. And some difficulty in hours worked, such as construction, etc., but they all worked and pulled their family. It was a rotten apple in the bunch. If I had not known of this family in particular and have the best friends with one of his daughters was, I could not believe this story. But this is a true story. Cut wood all winter to keep warm. Grow was huge garden and all food to eat so he could fall through the winter. Everything seemed so easy for them. They were a very close family.

Not even going back several generations, I am the oldest of 9 years. I have a client, 8 exhibits. There is a TV show here in the States follows a family of 17 with a road on the. So there are stable families with many children today. What are all the families I have mentioned have in common is the husband and wife are working together to raise children. I am sure that mothers days when I wish I could have free time, but they have made their choice, many children and are very good. Sure, none of my examples are Catholics or Mormons.

Yes, but in a different time, when it still help groups of children, the family business, look after them in old age, or just pure lack of reliable contraception until the mid-70s.

My grandmother was a Mennonite minister, who was eleven years old. And by approved.

My mother grew up in an orphanage by a couple who run a farm owned magazine. The couple, together raising more than forty children, some from birth, always others what age they brought to the orphanage. They saw each child, even if it was adopted by the university. They took their last game of the children, three daughters, in 1980, because the girls have completed a college program in the community. My grandparents have certainly earned their place in heaven.

My own mother raised six of us, and foster children. I have been working on promoting the cut twelve, and all sides, cleaning houses, gardens, and tended to our neighbors in the Accounts tab. I never said any form of social assistance. Have, in fact, nobody in our family, a large number of children, m increasesAdopted children have received support from the government. Or expected.

However, we have family members who are raising one or two children who hop in each row for each hand. The shame is not it?

Many families with eight or more children in Britain today, and most of them are immigrants. I know people who have larger families these days, but it was because of the high infant mortality, and limited access to contraception, now it's no problem, you should have children they can afford and should not be in the benefits that will bring the taxpayer .

Most people have families in the Victorian era - no contraceptives.
You need to make a lot of evidence that only a handful survived scrutiny of death certificates in the towns and villages is quite frightening, with whole families of children in an outbreak of smallpox, scarlet fever killed, measles, whooping cough, cholera, typhoid, tuberculosis and so on.

My father's family 10 years and had a larger family than before. At that time they did not survive no birth control and many children. Outside is the sister of my father, there were more than 3, although some can have often argued about this (there was).

Asked my office manager, her husband and 5 children, 2 of their employees had.
